What a delight

This past weekend

bicycling from Beacon, New York

@ 4:45pm 8.14.09

and arriving in

Monticello, NewYork @ 10 am next day 8.15.09

Fourty miles on the road through the night

an adventure and dangerous one, no doubt.

Even though obstacles came in

my path I reached my destination.

Relieved when I found

a motel and an satisfying afternoon's rest.

This story inspires me to possibly blog my

previous adventures through the United States, Canada

Brazil, Mexico, Western Europe, the island of Formentia in Spain,

the island of Gavdos in Greece and over a number of Greek Islands,

Scandinavia, Europe, Egypt and Israel.
